Beautiful dress-didn’t fit

A gorgeous dress. But designed for a much shorter frame/torso. I’m 5’8.5” with 44” hips, 32” waist. Bought the large to ensure I had room for my hips, which I did…but the markings for the hips was 3” higher than my hips. The sewn in slip of the dress didn’t cover my bum either, so I have a feeling 5’6” is the max height you can be to wear this dress (or if you’re taller, better have a short torso!). All in all, it’s beautiful, just not for taller gals.
