Extremely small fit

Very cute but extremely small fit, I’m between a S-M(size 5) I went with a medium and without high rise jeans or high skirt this is too short. Wish I had ordered a large. The Medium fits my 13year old who wears a size 0. Since a medium usually fits a 6-8 consider this when ordering.
